Dry Verge, Ridge and Hip Systems

Dry fix installation refers to the mechanical (nails, screws, clips), installation of roof verge, ridge and hip tiles without the use of traditional mortar bedding.

Mortar bedding is often unreliable and is adversely affected by rain and wind and generally can crack and deteriorate over time.

The move to mechanical dry fixing is driven by the benefits that it presents over mortar bedding alone and the regulations and codes of practice for the building and roofing industry.
