Technical Customer Services Support

We have an excellent opportunity for Technical Customer Services Support Executive, where you will act as the first point of contact in our Technical and Customer Service Department, answering customers queries and providing quotations.

Key Accountabilities

You will be responsible for directly assisting customers over the telephone, by email and via written communication with thier enquires.

This will include the areas of:

  • Delivering accurate general product, application and best practice installation advice in a confident manner
  • Competitor equivalent information handling and advising
  • Legislation and standards
  • Product estimating and quantifying
  • Produce accurate Special Pricing, Deal and Take Off /Schedule documents within an agreed timescale
  • Manage the Special Order process through from drawing submission and take off to point of delivery and ensure quotations are tracked and followed through via the External Sales Team.
  • Ensuring that allocated customer deals are in date and current
  • Resolving customer enquiries (including complaints, basic product information, service, pricing and lead-time) in an efficient and professional manner
  • Support to the Sales Office team by taking on the overspill of work

Full product training will be provided, so you can use your superior knowledge to offer technical advice, as well as additional or alternative solutions to satisfy customer requirements.

The Ideal Candidate

  • The ideal candidate will be someone with previous experience within a customer focused, sales or production administration positions.
  • A high level of accuracy and prioritisation skills and display a good level of logical problem solving.
  • Understanding and analysing numerical data
  • Flexible approach and ability to learning new skills and extended product, application and best practice installation knowledge
  • Previous use of a recognised IT system and good Microsoft skills are a must as are excellent communication skills.

Salary and benefits.

  • Up to £25,000 per annum
  • 25 days holiday plus statutory holidays
