Introducing John Wright, Timloc’s Northern Regional Sales Manager

Name:  John Wright

Role at Timloc:  Northern Regional Sales Manager

Work history in brief:    I’ve predominantly focussed my career in the building and P&H product sectors, with extensive experience with lintels, boilers and heating controls, working with merchants, housebuilders and specifiers – which I thrive on.

What were your first impressions of Timloc after your first week?:  To phrase a footballing term ‘a sleeping giant’.

Favourite sports team?:  My beloved Sheffield Wednesday – I’m a life-long supporter.

Can you remember what the first record was that you bought?:  I’m showing my age here – I can’t remember the song, but it was by Haircut 100, who I loved at the time.

When you were a child, what was your dream job?:   I wanted to be a RAF Pilot.

What do you like about working for Timloc today?:   Every day is different at Timloc and I love our team spirit and showing that we offer solutions - not just pieces of plastic.

How do you like to spend your time when you’re not at work?:  In my free time, I love spending time with my family - I’m dad to 1-year old Sonny (do I need to say anymore????).
I’m also a keen golfer, being a member at Tankersley Park Golf Club and playing off a handicap of 12.

Do you have a favourite Timloc product?:  It has to be ‘Cavity Trays’. They are such an important range, particularly for builders, and we have the technical expertise to provide a full scheduling service for them to make their life easier for our customers.

Interesting fact about John:  I have 3 brothers, who are all called David!
